Who are the Real Jews?
In between some of the music and dance acts at Simcha on
the Square, while the stage is being cleared and reset for the next
act, the gathered crowds will be amused and entertained by a short video
of a poem by Leah Thorn called "Real Jews". Featuring the
children from the Simon Marks Jewish Primary School with music by London's
very own Los Desterrados, the poem delivers a simple message: Jews come
in all shapes and sizes, colours and cultures, and there is Jewish life
beyond North London. The video was made by Roswitha Chesher.

Kosher Ice Cream keeping Simcha Cool
You may have eaten low-fat ice-cream, but have you ever tasted the
pureness of Kosher Ice-cream? This year, organisers have
managed to secure Mr Dovey's Ice Cream van for Simcha on the Square.
We may not have had much of a summer this year, but lets keep that summer
feeling going just a bit longer with this delicious, Rabbi-approved
ice-cream! And enjoy some great music at the same time...
